英文（Straightsteel pipe），通常焊管：焊管用來運送低壓流體。用Q195、Q215A、Q235A鋼、Q235B（普碳制造） 。也可選用易于焊接0317規范類型6012及鋼母755軟鋼一起制造。鋼管要進行水壓、曲折、壓扁等試驗，對表面質量有一定請求，交貨長度為4m-10m，常請求定尺（或倍尺）交貨。焊管的規范，用公稱口徑表明（毫米或英寸）公稱口徑與實踐不同，焊管按規定壁厚有一般鋼管和加厚鋼管兩種，鋼管按管端方式分帶螺紋、不帶螺紋兩種。
